PROCESS FOR FILING CLAIMS

You must notify the Claim Assistance Centre by calling their 24X7 Emergency Number within 24 hours of any medical or dental Emergency. This is a requirement to allow the insurance company to manage the claim. Failure to do so will result in a Managed Care Penalty where you will be responsible to pay for a share of any eligible expenses incurred. Some hospitals may require a deposit. Please pay the deposit otherwise, let the hospital send their invoice directly to the insurance company. Let the insurance company deal with the hospital charges. If you visit a doctor in a clinic the cost will be small. You should pay the doctor and then seek reimbursement from the insurance company by filing your claim for reimbursement
