To be eligible for the Tugo Super Visa Insurance, you must:
- Be in good health and have undergone a thorough medical assessment.
- Have purchased a valid medical insurance from a private Canadian insurance company.
- Provide proof that you are related (parent or grandparent) to the person you are visiting in the country.
- Ensure that the medical insurance purchased has a minimum validity of one year.
- The insurance plan purchased should cover hospitalization fees, healthcare, and repatriation.
- The minimum coverage amount should be CAD 100,000.
- Make sure that an examination officer can review the policy upon request during your stay in the country.
- Provide proof of income from the host to ensure that they are financially stable.
- Present a letter of invitation from the child or grandchild requesting their parents/grandparents to stay in Canada.

- Policy waiting period: If the plan is purchased before arrival to the country, there is no waiting period for illnesses and diseases. If purchased 60 days after arriving in the country, then there is a 48-hour waiting period. If you have purchased insurance more than 60 days after arrival into the country, there is a waiting period of seven days.
